This project included the renovation of Hangar 5 to support the Health and Wellness Center (HAWC) functions. Weldin Construction’s work included the renovation of two bathrooms, the conversion of two existing rooms into locker rooms, the renovation of two open office areas into fitness testing rooms, the renovation of a hallway, and the installation of a 200M indoor track. The floor was Mondo Super X Performance 10MM Resilient Athletic Flooring with the track consisting of four non-banked lanes, 42” wide, installed to meet the International Association of Athletics Federations “Track and Field Facilities Manual 2008.” Track installation also included run-out lanes to accommodate 60M sprint events.
