North Wind Solutions is a Critical Subcontractor on the Hanford Mission Essential Services Contract (HMESC), located at the Hanford Site in southeastern Washington. HMESC provides the infrastructure and site services necessary to accomplish environmental cleanup of the Hanford Site. The HMESC prime contract was awarded to Hanford Mission Integration Solutions (HMIS), LLC, a joint venture comprised of member companies Leidos Integrated Technology, LLC; Centerra Group, LLC; and Parsons Government Services, Inc. As Critical Subcontractor, North Wind Solutions is working as an integral part of the HMIS Team in providing Information Technology, Cyber Security, and Records Management.
In December 2021, the project celebrated a safety milestone of 500,000 safe hours worked. Starting the contract transition in January 2021, the team onboarded roughly 330 new North Wind employees, trained them, and maintained safe and continuous operations. As they progressed through the year working on IT/Cyber, Records Management, and infrastructure projects, the team never wavered from their commitment to working safely.
