North Wind Construction Services, LLC performed the Warm Springs Creek Reclamation project for the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Forest Service Northern region. Awarded in late June 2016, the project team performed phase two, of a two-phased project including the removal of tailings along the Middle Fork of Warm Springs Creek, MT, upgrading of access roads, excavation, blending, and hauling of tailings to the repository, final construction of the repository including High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE)* and soil cap, reconstruction of the Middle Fork of Warm Springs stream channel, placement of backfill and topsoil, demolition of temporary access roads, and seeding, and fertilizing of all disturbed areas.
