North Wind Portage Receives New Contract Award
North Wind Portage was awarded a seat on the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Environmental Management (EM) small business set-aside contract to provide Nationwide Deactivation, Decommissioning, and Removal (DD&R) services for sites managed by EM, the National Nuclear Security Administration, Office of Naval Reactors, and the Office of Science.
In addition, DOE will award an initial Task Order under the Small Business Nationwide DD&R contract in support of the Energy Technology Engineering Center (ETEC) Mission Completion project. This Task Order includes environmental monitoring, surveillance and maintenance, project support, DD&R, and groundwater remediation. This initial Task Order is awarded to North Wind Portage for $18,601,576.
“North Wind Portage is thrilled for the opportunity to support DOE’s DD&R mission. The award of the ETEC Task Order enables us to continue to advance cleanup at the site, where we have continuously performed work since 2014,” says North Wind Portage President, Jeff Scott.
North Wind Portage takes pride in contributing to the DOE-EM’s mission to complete environmental legacy cleanup safely.
