North Wind Awarded Support Contract at Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant
North Wind Solutions was recently awarded an infrastructure support services contract by Swift & Staley, Inc. at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant in Kentucky. Under the $1.5-million contract, North Wind is responsible for managing and implementing the environmental, safety, and health (ES&H) program and for providing support in the areas of waste management and pollution prevention, training, analytical laboratory services, and radiological protection.
According to North Wind Solutions President John Bukowski, “North Wind is pleased to be able to provide ES&H and other infrastructure support services at the Paducah facility. Our work at this site will support economic development of the area and will grow North Wind’s footprint in the southeast. We are eager to develop a long-term relationship with Swift & Staley, the Paducah community, and local stakeholders.”
