North Wind Companies Awarded U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center Contracts

Two North Wind Group subsidiary companies recently were awarded contracts with the U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center in Huntsville, Alabama (CEHNC).
North Wind Solutions was awarded an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to provide demolition-related services for CEHNC. The work includes planning, coordination and execution of facility abatement and hazardous material removal, demolition, debris management and disposition, and site restoration and cleanup of excess facilities across the northeastern United States to save energy and maintenance costs; eliminate safety hazards, nuisances and unsightly structures; and free up valuable Army real estate for future development. North Wind Solutions is part of a pool of contractors who will share in the estimated $48 million program over a 5-year (1-year base and four 1-year options) period.
While North Wind Solutions’ contract focuses on the northeastern U.S., North Wind Construction Services was also recently awarded an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to provide similar services for CEHNC across the mid-eastern U.S. North Wind Construction Services is also part of a pool of contractors who will share in the estimated $48 million program over a 5-year (1-year base and four 1-year options) period.
