This 62,000 SF, $32 million facility contains a 15,000-gallon saltwater aquarium, a 600-gallon freshwater tank (roughly 35 feet long, 7 feet deep, and 7 feet wide), a replica of an Alabama cave, and a meteorite. Exhibits in the new building will focus on Alabama allowing people to interact with exhibits.
