LBYD provided significant structural and foundation upgrades to the Memorial Stadium at the University of Illinois. The upgrades were necessary to support the LARGEST SCOREBOARD IN COLLEGE SPORTS.
The scoreboard, designed by Anthony James Partners, will be the new South End Zone primary videoboard. The new LED display measures 249′ 5″ (W) x 69′ 6″ (H) and will have approximately 14.7 million more pixels (a 195% increase in resolution) from the current board.
This project is scheduled for completion before the start of the 2026 college football season.
