North Wind Group, CFO, and Dundalk resident recognized at December 3 ceremony
Easton, MD (December 4, 2024) – Leadership Maryland announced today that Jeff Weiss, Chief Financial Officer at North Wind Group, has completed its Executive Program. The program focuses on professional growth and building a stronger Maryland by bringing together business and community leaders from across the state.
Leadership Maryland recognized Weiss, who lives in Dundalk, along with the Executive Program Class of 2024 at its 31st graduation ceremony. The event took place on December 3 at the Hilton Baltimore BWI Airport. Weiss now joins Leadership Maryland’s alumni network, which includes more than 1,500 leaders from throughout Maryland.
Weiss was one of 51 participants selected for the eight‑month program. The program included hands-on learning and real-world discussions. Participants attended an opening orientation, a closing retreat, and five two‑day sessions. Each session focused on one of Maryland’s major regions and the key issues facing the state, such as economic growth, education, health care, public safety, the environment, and diversity.
More than 100 experts took part as speakers and panelists. These experts represented business, government, education, and nonprofit organizations across Maryland.
“On behalf of our staff, board, and membership, I congratulate the Executive Program Class of 2024 on completing the program and joining our alumni family,” said David Fike, president and CEO, Leadership Maryland. “Each class year brings its own unique lessons, and I am proud to have witnessed the ways the Class of 2024 embraced each one on their journey to become a force for positive change in their organizations, communities, and state.”
The Executive Program is open to senior executives who have made meaningful contributions in their careers or communities. Members are chosen because they want to better understand Maryland’s biggest challenges and are committed to making a positive impact in their organizations, communities, and the state.
