The LBYD Federal team performed design services for a new building for the College of Eastern Idaho. This 88,000 sq ft building was designed to expand hands-on training, support the demand of student growth, and prepare the students for high-demand careers.
The Future Tech Building is high-tech educational facilities with additional common spaces for students to collaborate. It features 12 labs and 10 classrooms are designed for long-term flexibility to accommodate changing programs. The real-world skills that they learn in the building can be applied in engineering, technology, healthcare, energy, agriculture, cybersecurity, and advanced manufacturing.
Groundbreaking took place in August 2024 with the ribbon cutting in August 2026.
