North Wind Receives Contract for Environmental Services at Hill Air Force Base
Idaho Falls, ID. May 31, 2008 – North Wind, Inc., an Idaho Falls based environmental services firm, announced today that it has won an Indefinite Delivery/indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for A & E environmental services at three U.S. Air Force facilities, located in Utah: Hill AFB, Little Mountain Test Annex, and Utah Test and Training Range.
Under the terms of the five-year contract, North Wind will supply the following services: (1) remedial design including complete plans and specifications for the construction and operation of environmental remedies, (2) technical support including construction oversight and permit requirements, (3) treatability studies and field investigations, (4) CERCLA reporting requirements, (5) studies and design to assess and improve environmental cultural and natural resource aspects of base operations, (6) engineering studies in the area of air and water pollution controls, (7) emission measurements and controls, (8) hazardous waste management, (9)technical environmental assessments for proposed actions, and (10) permit applications.
