North Wind Recognized as Legacy Sponsor at Idaho Falls Mayor’s Scholarship Fund Ceremony

North Wind was honored to once again support the Idaho Falls Mayor’s Scholarship Fund as a Legacy Sponsor in its 20th year of empowering young students in our community.

This year’s theme, Lighting the Path, highlighted the profound impact that education and community support can have on shaping a student’s future.

This year we are proud to sponsor a scholarship, awarded to Stacy Cardenas, a dedicated student with bright aspirations. Although Stacy was unable to attend the evening’s ceremony, we were invited to the reception where we had the opportunity to meet several of the 48 remarkable scholarship recipients.

Ranging from 8th grade to graduating seniors, these students shared their plans for higher education and how the scholarships would help them take the next step toward their goals. Their gratitude toward the donors was heartfelt and inspiring, and we were proud to be among the businesses and individuals who continue to invest in the next generation of leaders.

This year, over $80,000 in scholarships was awarded, marking two decades of the Mayor’s Scholarship Fund creating meaningful opportunities for students in the Idaho Falls community. We are proud to continue supporting this impactful initiative and celebrate the incredible accomplishments of the 2025 recipients.
