13th Annual Sherwood Golf Tournament Raises More than $10,000

North Wind’s annual Sherwood Memorial Golf Tournament raised $10,160 for scholarships. The event was held July 25 at Sage Lakes Golf Course in Idaho Falls.

North Wind started this tournament in 2001 as a tribute to Tom Sherwood, one of the company’s first managers, who tragically passed away in 2000. North Wind partnered with the Idaho State University Foundation to establish the Tom Sherwood Memorial Scholarship, which benefits students pursuing geosciences or biology degrees.

Moxie Endeavors and the Partnership for Science and Technology also helped to host this year’s event, and Fluor Corporation sponsored a team for area students.
