Scott Hood, PMP is the Southeast Regional Manager. He has over 38 years of experience in the construction, environmental and nuclear fields servicing federal and commercial business sectors. He has done extensive work with Department of Energy (DOE) (NSSA and EM) and Department of Defense (DoD) (Navy, Air Force, Army), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and NASA. He started his career with Bechtel Corp. building nuclear/coal fire power plants and petrochemical facilities. He came to Oak Ridge with Bechtel National and managed various FUSRAP sites across the country. In the mid-1990s Mr. Hood went to Fernald to decommission and demolition (D&D) the site with Fluor and then on to Rust Federal Services as the Director of Nuclear Operations managing 45+ projects for DOE and DoD. After Rust Federal, he went to Babcock and Wilcock managing projects at the Savannah River Site, Fernald and Mound where he served as the Deputy Site Manager/Manager of Projects, and from there to Y-12, Nevada Test Site, and Idaho National Laboratory in executive positions. Before coming to North Wind as the Southeast Regional Manager he went back Y-12 working in the nuclear weapons operations and support.
