Idaho Falls, IDAHO – (January 10, 2018) North Wind Group announced that as of January 1, 2018, Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI) is consolidating the business operations and assets of the Silver Mountain Group, including operational entities Weldin Construction LLC, Silver Mountain Construction LLC, and ANC Research & Development LLC, into North Wind Group. The administrative consolidation of Silver Mountain Group and North Wind Group is being implemented as part of a strategy to increase competitive strengths in Alaska and the Pacific Rim.

Silver Mountain Construction LLC is specialized in design-build, vertical infrastructure, military fueling, processing piping and civil and underground construction projects.
Weldin Construction LLC began operations in 1983 performing specialized excavation, road construction and underground utility installation and has decades of subcontracting experience and has grown as a prime contractor with the largest customers being the U.S. Air Force and Army Corps of Engineers.
ANC Research & Development LLC was founded in 2005 providing air and missile defense support and provides a broad range of engineering, manpower and facilities and program management services.
