North Wind Company Awarded Contract for Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant Infrastructure Support Services
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has awarded the Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant Infrastructure Support Services contract to Portsmouth Mission Alliance, LLC, a subsidiary of North Wind Solutions. The Portsmouth plant is located near Piketon, Ohio. The 5-year contract is valued at approximately $139.7 million.
Infrastructure support services to be provided under this contract include surveillance, maintenance and repair of facilities; janitorial services; grounds maintenance; snow removal; pest control; roadway/parking lot maintenance; computing, telecommunication, and cybersecurity; fleet management; real and personal property management; records management and document control; safeguards and security; environment, safety, health and quality programs; and training services.
The Portsmouth Mission Alliance team is comprised of North Wind Solutions, LLC and Swift & Staley, Inc.
