North Wind Awarded Follow-On Contract at Oak Ridge National Laboratory

Earlier this month North Wind Solutions, LLC, was awarded a follow-on contract for transuranic (TRU) waste processing operations at Oak Ridge National Laboratory’s TRU Waste Processing Center (TWPC). The contract with Wastren Advantage, Inc. commits North Wind for another year of TWPC operations.

Under the contract, North Wind employs approximately 40 employees who provide “round-the-clock” waste operations support at the facility. North Wind’s initial contract for this service started in January 2013.

The company is based in Idaho Falls, Idaho, and operates throughout the United States.
