Another Successful North Wind Golf Tournament

North Wind’s 14th annual Sherwood Memorial Golf Tournament raised almost $10,000 for scholarships. The event was held July 24 at Sage Lakes Golf Course in Idaho Falls. Moxie Endeavors also helped host this year’s event.

North Wind started this tournament in 2001 as a tribute to Tom Sherwood, one of the company’s first managers, who tragically passed away in 2000. North Wind partnered with the Idaho State University Foundation to establish the Tom Sherwood Memorial Scholarship, which benefits students pursuing geosciences or biology degrees.

In this year’s tournament, Tony Lorentz’s team won the Mediocrity award and Rebecca Clark’s team took first place. Randy Rohweder won closest on the putting contest. Jade Siddoway won closest to the pin, and Barry Hayes won longest drive. Kelly Galloway won longest drive for the ladies & Carol Barker for the ladies closest to the pin.
